Terms and Conditions
Please read this carefully. By submitting an order on this website you are agreeing to the terms that appear below which will apply to any purchase made on this website.
This website is operated by Kimble’s Chocolates Ltd (hereinafter also referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”).
All purchases made on this website are governed by these Terms and Conditions.
- Changes to your Order
1.1 Our priority is to get your chocolates to you as fast as possible. If you wish to make changes to your order please be quick.
1.2 We cannot guarantee any changes you make will be processed before shipping. If you would like to change something, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0141-249-9955 as soon as possible after placing your order.
- Acceptance of Goods
2.1 If the goods are damaged, please keep the packaging and contents as this will assist us in making any claims against Royal Mail.
2.2 Please check the goods within a reasonable time period after delivery. If you find something wrong, please contact us ASAP at email@example.com or the shop on 0141-249-9955
2.3 If we don’t hear from you within 7 days of the despatch date, we will consider everything is great and therefore reserve the right not to accept any rejection of goods at a later date.
- Returns / Refund Policy:
3.1 Chocolate is a perishable good and we are therefore not able to accept the return of these goods for reasons of hygiene.
3.2 Chocolate is quite fragile and easily damaged. On very rare occasions, products arrive at their destination damaged or fail to arrive due to an unforeseen delivery issue. Please contact us immediately so that we can discuss an appropriate resolution.
3.3 When contacting us, please quote your Paypal Transaction ID number so we can find your order details fast.
3.4 We will then give you a returns code which should be put into the package when returning the product back to us. Only once we receive the package we will reimburse you accordingly. Any postage charges incurred by yourself will not be reimbursed where goods are not damaged or faulty.
3.5 Refunds are processed within 14 days of the refund being authorised. We will keep you up to date with what is happening.
- Purchase Contract:
4.1 We sell goods only to end-user consumers. All goods are sold subject to the condition that they will not be re-sold or otherwise circulated without our prior written consent.
4.2 We will confirm acceptance of your order. This will either be by a message on the website immediately after you have confirmed your order, or by us sending an e-mail to the email address you have provided to us. We may do both. At this point the purchase contract will be made and we will supply the goods to you in accordance with your order and these Terms and Conditions.
4.3 You must be 18 years of age or over
- We currently only deliver within the UK using Royal Mail First Class Delivery. The charge for this is included in the price of the product.
- Orders over the value of £25.00 will be sent out Royal Mail First Class Signed For. Please insure someone will be able to sign for the package or it will be returned to a Royal Mail Depot or back to our shop in Glasgow.
- Orders will be sent out by Royal Mail First Class. First Class Mail aims to deliver parcels the next working day, including Saturday, but this is not guaranteed. Please allow an extra couple of days if you need your order for a special date i.e. Mother’s Day, Easter, Christmas, Bank Holidays etc.
- All orders submitted before 2pm will be posted the same day, weekends excepted.
- For UK deliveries please assist us by providing a contact telephone number when entering your delivery address details as this is maybe needed in order to arrange delivery to you.
- If a product is not in stock we will back order it for you, but you will be emailed or telephoned ASAP with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
5.6 Please note that at present we only post to UK addresses.
5.7 Products are subject to availability. In the event of non-availability of any goods you order, we will get in contact with you to let you know of your options.
5.8 We will always try to supply you with the full quantity that you have ordered. In the event that the goods delivered to you are incomplete or include incorrect goods, you must notify us promptly. We will then take the necessary steps to insure this is resolved.
5.9 We will deliver the products ordered by you to the address you gave us for delivery at the time you make your order. It is, however, your responsibility to provide us with accurate delivery address details. We will not check or verify addresses and messages supplied by you.
5.10 If we receive the parcel back to us due to an incorrect address or postcode which you provided to us. You will be liable to pay a re send charge of £4.95. We will of course notify you of any returns and ask you to contact us with your payment details in order for us to re send the parcel to you with the correct details. To avoid this, please double check your delivery address before submitting it to us
5.11 We shall have no liability to you, whatsoever, financial, administrative or otherwise, if you do not receive your order as a result of you providing incorrect delivery address details. It is your responsibility to ensure that an appropriate person is available at the delivery address to receive the order.
5.12 Please note that adverse weather conditions or other events outside of our reasonable control may result in a late or cancelled delivery. If that is the case we will endeavour to contact you as soon as we are able, in order to reschedule your delivery. In any event our liability to you will be limited to the price of goods ordered and the cost of the delivery.
5.13 This is a signed for service. We unfortunately cannot be held responsible for failed or late deliveries. If there is nobody present to receive your delivery, Royal Mail will leave a card with instructions.
6.1 If we have sent your order prior you cancelling it, the returns procedure above will apply.
6.2 Cancellations must be dealt with fast, so please contact us via phone on 0141-249-9955 between 9am and 6pm. Remember, orders placed before 2pm will be despatched the same day, weekends excepted.
7.1 All prices are quoted in Pounds sterling.
7.2 All prices are inclusive of VAT at 20%
7.3 We take every care to ensure information and prices are correct and withhold the right to make any price changes deemed necessary.
7.4 We cannot be held responsible for typographical errors on this site, including but not limited to those regarding price. We reserve the right to make changes to our web site including prices, products, ingredients and terms & conditions without any notice being given.
