Hi again all! It's been a while and Easter and the Royal Wedding have come and I've I have been on a 2 week break from Kimble's giving so I've had some extra time on my hands to ..BAKE! Yes, bake! There is so much in our store that can add a sparkle to your cakes...cookies..cupcakes... from the finest quality of jams to melting chocolate. This time round, John has presented me with a lovely, thick and REAL extra Raspberry preserve! This is some stuff, once again like the Chilli Jam, the packaging is adorable! The taste is thick, sweet and full of Raspberries! So, for a friend's birthday I decided to bake heart shaped shortcake raspberry filling cookies! It went down like a treat, and I am 100% sure it was the Preserve that added the magic into my cookies! Notice the 'extra jam' at the bottom of the jar, it's not lying, from when I tasted it on it's own...it definitely had its own extra kick! My process of the cookie making! The end product! So, not only can this jam make a cracking filling of sandwich cookies...it also tastes like heaven a slice of good old toast or even with some warm pancakes! Now, how can anyone not like a good slice of toast with some thick, rich jam in the morning?! Typing this up is making my tummy grumble! So..I must get some toast now ;) What are you waiting for?? Quick! Come check out our deli and grab some of these fantastic preserves! Then if your a bit exhausted from good old shopping, drop by our cafe and enjoy a lovely lunch, doesn't a day like that sound SO perfect? :) PS. An extra picture or two of my cookies that I was very proud of, excuse the mess, but the jam inside is worth it ;) Love, Jessie!

Hi again everyone!
It's once again me reporting to the Kimble's Chocolate Cafe blog!
How has everyones weekend been? I hope everyone is chilling and getting ready for another week of hard work...especially at our Kimbles headquarters!
Also, being a little off topic here.... I'm sure many have seen the devasting disaster in Japan since Friday, I have personally been glued to my computer...tv. and any type of updates I can get from a device to see how Japan is getting through this terrible disaster, although not Japanese I feel deeply worried and upset with such happening and I hope everyone will see how serious and big a problem this has caused Japan...both in humanity and their future. So please please please donate! Please help them to get through this! http://www.redcross.org.uk/japantsunami/?approachcode=68861_twitupjapan So, my 2nd deli item to review is one of the most popular little jams in our store. Let me tell you, we have many jams...from the simple raspberry preserve to the quirky 'Traffic Jam'...get it?! Traffic..JAM! Anyway, this Chilli Jam is one special one...the constituency is just like any other jam but the taste is refreshing and different, there is a slight sweetness to it but with a tang. There are actually bits of chilli in it, creating a hint of heat when bitten in too...mmmm.... Now, I know Chilli Jam sounds a bit weird but when paired up with the best of the best...the taste is something to die for! Great with cheese; pick a cheese that's rich in taste - like brie or mature cheddar. Even better: cheese, fresh wholemeal bread and then a big slapping of Chilli Jam! Yum yum. I've also been advised by our boss...(big scary John Kimble) ("big handsome John" I'm sure she meant to write: Ed) that it also goes great with Ham! And for those who have been to our great cafe, I'm sure you must of heard of the famous French Brie sandwich...with the softest bread and a filling of juicy sunblushed tomatoes, a thick slice of brie and Chilli Jam to wrap it up as a sandwich of perfection! I must finish now, it's late and i'm craving for some French Brie sandwiches...please everyone, you haven't tasted a perfect sandwich unless you've been to Kimbles!
Ps. isn't the packaging of our Jams to DIE for?! How cute and simple..I love it! Good night and please stay safe!

Hi everyone! I'm Miss Jessie from Kimble's chocolates, deli & cafe reporting! As part of the greatest team in the world....I have been offered the chance to write reviews for the website! With such contribution, I'm super excited!!! The first ever item I want to review about is one of our latest additions that has only recently joined our wonderful deli cabinet~ Briannas Poppy Seed Dressing!!! Yum! Now, there are many salad dressings on the market. From thousand island dressing to the good old mayo....and it's not that easy to find something that best suits our tastes. The advantage of this dressing is the multiple purpose of it...we can dip healthy banana slices in it, or for a even more delicious taste, freshly sliced peaches! Great for a bit of dessert or even a snack for us people watching our weight for the upcoming summer, but don't eat too much of it!!!
The dressing is full of flavours! Right after getting my hands on it and to test this out, I made my way to the supermarket excitedly and bought mozzerella cheese and a fresh bag of salad, simple, inexpensive and tasty!!! So this is my idea of using this in a meal....for all salad junkies out there like me, you've got to get your hands on one of these natural packed dressings!
.....and even better...it's imported from the U S of A! :)
Ps. If you discover the secrets of our deli....you'll find even more wonderful hidden treasures, not easy to find in the city of Glasgow!
Enjoy!
