Big Brother 9 pals, Luke Marsden and Mikey Hughes came a calling to Kimble's yesterday. Luke (remember him with Bex! :)) is now a TV columnist for STAR & has his own radio show, while dark chocolate loving Mikey (BB9 best moment...Mikey & the chillies!!!) had just appeared the night before as a headline DJ for the Masters Of Hardcore World Tour at The Arches in Glasgow. Nice, nice guys the pair of them.

There's a rumour going around that TV personalties Harry Hill and Alan Sugar were seen cleaning behind the chocolate counter in Kimble's. I personally think they were only there for the chocolate. :-)

Ron Culley & publisher
Last Friday we were delighted to be the venue of choice for Glaswegian, Ron Culley, to launch his two new books to an invited VIP guest list.
|
The Books
The first book was an autobiographical account of growing up in Glasgow called 'I Belong To Glasgow'(with a Foreword by Sir Alex Ferguson). The second is a novel set in Las Vegas and Dublin called 'The Kaibab Resolution'.

Chris, Siobhan, Siobhan and Chloe on The Mezzanine.

Because the second book was about Glasgow, samples of Cremola Foam (now called Krakatoa Foam) & Coulter's Candy was handed out in order to stimulate recollections of days gone by.

Popuar Scottish interior designers, television personalities and panto stars, Colin & Justin were in the St Enoch Centre to raise awareness for Cash For Kids by performing their Christmas single when they decided to pop into Kimble's for something to eat. Not one to miss an opportunity, Chloe our promotions girl, grabbed Colin on the way out, (Justin had escaped to the toilets), and let him sample some Krakatoa Foam. The very obliging Colin then posed for a photo with Chloe. Nice one Chloe and thank you Colin! Colin & Justin are currently appearing in The Magical Adventures of Robin Hood at the Pavilion Theatre in Glasgow. You can view their single on YouTube.
