 Our Story Kimble's is our family business that began in 2002 as a small Belgian chocolate shop in the St Enoch Centre, Glasgow. The shop boasted an impressive assortment of finest quality Belgian chocolates, delicious filled chocolate bars and other confectionery delights. Four years later we had moved to a larger shop, however we were always keen to introduce some café culture into the centre and were confident that there was a big appetite for specialist hot chocolate, coffees and teas to be served in an exciting environment and so we opening Kimble's Chocolate Café beside the existing shop in November 2007.A year later the opportunity presented itself to expand the business (We were getting used to moving by then!) by moving to a more prominent location and to combine the café and shop into one unit. Many of you will remember this location opposite Debenhams. Finally in June 2010 we were delighted to move into our present location in the Centre’s new glass box entrance overlooking St. Enoch Square. This move has enabled us to expand our menu to include breakfast dishes and a new range of hot and cold, freshly prepared foods in addition to our existing chocolate specialities.So what began as a small Belgian confectionery shop has now been expanded into a much larger chocolate café and retail outlet which has carved out a niche and an ever growing reputation as a regular rendezvous for discerning customers. |
